The mission of the Greenfield Police Department is to preserve the peace, provide for a safe environment, and enhance the quality of life in the City of Greenfield through strong community partnerships and excellence in policing.

The Greenfield Police Department is staffed by 44 officers, 3 civilian staff, and 1 victim advocate from Alternatives, Inc. Greenfield Police Department provides the following services for the City of Greenfield:

  • D.A.R.E.-Drug Abuse Resistance Education programs
  • Crime prevention training and programming
  • Applications for handgun permits
