Fire Inspections and Plan Review

The City of Greenfield Fire Territory takes a proactive approach to the inspections of business's located within the City of Greenfield and Center Township. Annual fire inspections are performed by the fire prevention division inspectors. These inspections help business operators reduce the risk of fire and loss of life in their buildings, and help ensure the safety of their visitors. All business can use the Fire Inspection Compliance Form to tell us they have corrected the violations an inspector has cited them during their annual safety inspection. We also review all new construction and remodeled business's to make sure they comply with all fire an building codes. The fire prevention division works closely with the other City of Greenfield Departments to make sure that all business are safe for their employees and visitors. If you see a fire safety concern in the community please notify us with the Report a Fire Safety Concern Form located on this site. The Fire Prevention Division is headed up by Fire Marshal Steve Kropacek. He has over 20 years in fire service experience.
