Notification of Work for Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation

The City of Greenfield, IN has contracted Insight Pipe Contracting to rehabilitate sanitary sewers in the vicinity of your home or business. This rehabilitation is being performed using trenchless procedures, so there will be little or no need for excavation. We are currently performing diagnostic work, televising in the agreed upon sewer segments.
This letter is a notice that representatives from Insight Pipe Contracting will be on your street. The television work that Insight Pipe Contracting is currently performing will not interrupt your sewer or water service.
This work will be performed during 11/16/23 – 5/10/24. We are anticipating that the hours of work will be from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday. It is our intention to complete the work in an efficient and timely manner to cause the least amount of inconvenience.
Also, we would like to remind you to keep your toilet lids closed during the process to control any backsplash of water from your toilet into your residence.
We recommend pouring some water down any infrequently used drains (i.e. basement sinks, floor drains, showers, bath tubs) and covering them with a wet rag during this process. This is necessary to prevent any sewer odor from entering your home through the plumbing drains.

Work lining pipes will begin December 27th in the Wateriew subdivision. Residents will find a door hang tag prior to work beginning. The hang tag will give details and instructions for the home owner to be aware of. Please read the hang tag carefully and if you have any questions, please use the contact number provided on the hang tag.
