The Hancock County Technical Rescue Team consists of 56 members from both the Greenfield Fire Territory and the Sugar Creek Township Fire Department. These highly trained and skilled members specialize in a diverse variety of special operations.

The Technical Rescue Team currently provides High and Low Angle Rope Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Trench Rescue, Structural Collapse Rescue, Water/Ice Rescue, Urban Search and Rescue, and Vehicle/Machinery Extrication. The members of this team are very dedicated to training and being prepared to respond the any of these complex incidents.
