Twenty-eight percent of the adult population in Hancock County have a Body Mass Index (BMI) greater than 30. This is considered obese. We want our community to be healthy and therefore are offering this program to help individuals (adults and children) get physically active.
Greenfield/Hancock Animal Management recently seized 28 dogs from a county residence that were found to be living in deplorable conditions.
“My Energy Data” is a free website tool for Greenfield’s electric customers to use to monitor their electric usage daily & monthly to help cut cost & save on electric usage.

Starting on March 1st, depending on the weather, the cemetery will remove and discard all decorations on all grave sites. If anyone is wishing to keep any arrangement and/or personal items on the graves, you must remove them before the specified date. This is not the items on the monuments themselves.
Families are responsible for cleaning up the Christmas items or items that are not Christmas decorations that are in bad condition on the monuments and vases.
Cold weather and wind chills are here. This means we can expect frozen water pipes and water damage if exposed areas aren't properly insulated or we aren't careful about winter heating. Here are some problem areas, warning signals and tips to minimize the chance of freezing water pipes.
