K9 Fore Nine

 Hawk's Tail of Greenfield is sponsoring a community dog walk to benefit Greenfield Animal Management on April 19th, 2014 from 2pm to 6pm. Bring your family and leashed pet to enjoy a walk on the back nine of the Hawk's Tail golf course. Visit local Police K9 units and Hancock County Search Dogs. Many other activities are planned.

 

GPD Citizen's Academy

GPD will be accepting applications for the Citizen's Academy through May 15, 2014. Class will begin June 4 and every Wednesday night for 7 weeks. You must be at least 18 years old, reside in the Greenfield Central School District and have not completed the Citizen's Academy in prior years.

2014 Mowing Bids

The City of Greenfield is looking for mowing contractors to submit bids to provide mowing, trimming, bush-hogging, and trash removal services on properties in violation of local weed, trash, and zoning ordinances.

Regreening Greenfield

April 26th, Arbor Day, Regreening Greenfield will host their annual Free tree seedling distribution at the Hancock County Courthouse Plaza beginning at 8:00 AM. Regreening Greenfield is a not for profit organization that focuses on reforestation in Greenfield. They will have several varieties of seedlings such as Oak, Pine, and Crab Apple. You do not have to be a Greenfield resident and information and support on proper planting is available.

Free Trees!

Bikes in Bloom

Colorful; artistic bikes are sprouting up around downtown Greenfield. The City's first-ever Bikes in Bloom project was unveiled last Saturday, April 5, when more than a dozen bright bikes sprouted up on bike racks throughout downtown bicycle-man Greenfield.
