Leaf pick-up within the City Limits of Greenfield will start on October 31st, 2016. Leaves must be raked to the curbside; bagged leaves will be picked up thedrought leaf same day if you call the Street Department before noon, at 477-4380. Bagged leaves must be placed at curbside for pick up.

Thornwood Preserve

treesIn the Fall of 2006, the City of Greenfield Park Board received a generous 20 acre donation of premier woodland from Herb and Judy Brown. This now 40 acre parcel of premier woodland will be protected and kept in its natural state for the enjoyment of future generations to come!

Hancock County Heroes

In late 1941, the war had come home to Hancock County, Indiana. gi-picAs hundreds of men and women joined the war effort, a quiet effort to record those who were serving was happening behind the scenes. Photos of those in service were provided by families and loved ones to be displayed, publicly, for all to see.
