Public Input Meeting

Greenfield Parks and Recreation Department’s 5 year Master Plan is designed as a broad-based strategic planning tool for the entire Department.  It seeks to assist the Park Board and Staff in establishing clear and realistic goals, objectives, and action steps for the next five (5) years.  The Master Plan will provide direction to the Department in order to meetthe current and future park and recreation needs of the Greenfield community.

In order to develop a broad based approach to our new 5 year Plan, we will take several approaches to gather information.  With the help from Greenfield Utility Department, a community survey was mailed in February and March’s utility bills.  In June, we will conduct interviews with community leaders known as “Key Stakeholder Interviews”.  The final attempt to gather as much feedback as we can will be the Public Input meeting to be held on June 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the Elmore Center Building located at 280 N. Apple Street.  The entire public is welcomed to attend this meeting as we continue to reach out to the citizens of Greenfield for their important feedback.  This feedback will help guide us as we develop our new 5 year Master Plan.
