Investigations

The Investigations Unit is commanded by the Administrative Captain and consists of 1 Detective Lieutenant, 1 Detective Sergeant, 6 Detectives and a Criminal Intelligence Analyst.  With the leadership of the Detective Lieutenant, the Investigations Unit works cases of fraud, theft, drug activity, assaults, robbery, domestic/family violence, sexual assault and murder.

The Investigations Unit works Monday - Friday 8:00 A.M to 4:00 P.M. and are on call for all other hours of the day and night should the need arise.

The Investigations Unit can be contacted to speak to local groups regarding criminal activity and keeping the community abreast of crime trends throughout the city.

Information on drug activity can be reported anonymously to the Investigations Unit by calling 317-477-DRUG(3784). Tips can also be emailed to intel@greenfieldin.org but these will not be anonymous.
