Police Reserves

The Greenfield Police Department utilizes Reserve Officers to supplement our full time Officers. Reserve Officers are community members that volunteer their time and have the same Law Enforcement Authority as a full time Officer. Our Reserve Officers are selected after undergoing a stringent hiring process. Once selected, they complete the same Field Training as our full time officers. The complete approximately 280 hours of training prior to working on their own and then receive additional training every year.

Our Reserve Officers do the same work and wear the same uniforms as our full time officers. They are each required to work at least 24 hours per month.
