The Greenfield Fire Department has a lot of cool stuff to offer kids of all ages. The fire department has a safety trailer that we use to teach children about fire safety and severe weather. This trailer travels to Greenfield grade schools during fire prevention week in October. The fire department is available to any organization to talk about fire related subjects. We have programs to offer to all age groups from preschool to senior citizen. The fire department offers a juvenile fire setter class for kids that have an unhealthy curiosity of fire. We also offer station tours, child safety seat inspections, and residential inspections. All these services are available upon request.
