My focus will be on:

  1. Constraining over reaching government to the extent it impedes economic development and available choices for our citizens.
  2. Work to amend and/or repeal LOIT(Local Option Income Tax) thereby increasing disposable income for households and small business which can then be spent locally thereby; increasing jobs, allowing small businesses to expand and improving the overall quality of life for our citizens.
  3. Concentrate and focus on reducing spending and getting more for our monies when we do have to spend it.
  4. Work to lower farm land from the FIRE DISTRICT tax get the rate lowered for agriculture land to make it more fair.
  5. Redevelopment Commission statute needs to be amended to provide for review and approval by City Council of all expenditures and contracts.
  6. Stewardship for Citizen’s and Taxpayer’s funds.
  7. Eliminate nepotism and conflicts of interest.
  8. Protect the new infrastructure investment in place by restricting weight limits on roads that contain the roundabouts.
  9. No local government spending when it comes to private companies when they ask for financial assistance. Government has no business intervening with the private sector when it comes to financial assistance.
  10. I want to protect and preserve the city’s ownership of the independent Utility company. This will assure for the citizen’s the lowest possible rates.  Note: We citizens and taxpayers of Greenfield must remember that the city can’t spend money on any special interest group initiative or anything else without just taking money from somebody else, ultimately the tax payers.
